Mission:

It is the mission of the NWWIB, Inc. Youth Council to expand work-based learning opportunities for youth in northwest Wisconsin.

In order for the Youth Council to be successful in its mission, the following five items need to be addressed:

• better marketing;
• focus on development of student's soft skills;
• employers and schools must be key partners in the process of training students;
• additional funding for work-based learning activities;
• need for political action.
